One of Lifeline’s new mission leaders is Dr. Ulrika Green who specializes in Cardiac Electrophysology.  The team will implant pacemakers and perform cardiac ablation procedures in India, in March of 2013.  She will be accompanied by fellow doctors from University of California San Diego Cardiovascular Center: Kirk Peterson M.D., Victor Pretorius, M.D., Gregory Feld, M.D., as well as Dr. Uma Srivatsa from UC Davis.  Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Science located in Bengaluru, India will be hosting the team. The pacemaker equipment is being donated through the generosity of Medtronic with the assistance of Jay Hendrickson.  Our spring newsletter will describe more about this program, its development and results.
